Do you really have what it takes? That is the question I'm going to ask you tonight. Do you really have what it takes? Do you want it bad enough to do what's required to win in today's market? Hi, it's Maria Cuatron, remax at Home, maria Cuatron and Associates, and I ask this question do you really have what it takes, and do you want it bad enough, to succeed in today's market? And so I had a conversation with an agent today and they said to me I don't. I know, I talked with an agent at your office and she showed me all the things she's doing. I don't really know that I want to do that. I don't want to have a nine to five To say that I was not shocked. But that's the problem.
Speaker 1:The discipline is what gives you freedom. When you want freedom, without discipline, you make no money. The discipline of the daily activities is what gives you freedom. So I ask you do you have what it takes to be disciplined every day and do the work? And I'm talking about a business schedule Monday, friday and, if needed, saturday, if that's what's needed but do you have the discipline to do the work? Do you have what it takes to do the work? That's entirely up to you. You get to decide. But when this person told me they don't want to work nine to five like we do, which is usually 8.30 to 6.30 or whatever, I said, okay, not a problem, but you've been doing that. How's that working out for you now? You haven't been working those hours, you've barely been working. But what I find and what I'm finding right now, a lot of people just don't want to work, just how. It is Not really sure why, nor do I really care why. I don't care why they don't want to work. That's their problem.
Speaker 1:My solution is to do the work and to show others who want to do the work how to do it at a high level and be successful in real estate sales. But you get to decide whether you're going to take the action or not. We have all the opportunity in the world, in our community, at Maria Quattrone and Associates, and you have to decide if you're willing to do what it takes in today's market to be successful. See, I don't make the rules. I just know, based on the market, what the requirements are to be successful, and that's what I do. There's hardly an inventory right now. That means you have to call more people to find the inventory be the solution.
Speaker 1:Where there's a will, there's a way and, yes, you can have a GED and get a real estate license. And if you do the work and you follow the cadence of what we teach, you will be super successful. It takes time, it takes energy, it takes effort. It's going to be up to you. So do you have really what it takes? Are you just going to be with 90% of the people who do nothing? You get to decide. I know which side of the fence I'm on. Which one are you on?
