We can do so much more than what we think we can.

What do I mean? How much time do we sit and waste on things that don't mean anything? So my experiment so far this week tells me that we can definitely do more than we think we can. I know that I can do more than I think I can. I know that I can do more than I think I can and that is all part of this experiment with 100 listing appointments in a one-month challenge. And so my numbers today I want to share with you.

Speaker 1:

I did 75 dials, 20 connections, 15 conversations for two minutes or more. I set two new appointments and I got two new listings and I did four listing appointments. There was going to be five for the day but one was moved to tomorrow, so I had four and I looked at the list of appointments and where they came from. The majority are from the database. Sure, I'm getting marketing calls on a daily basis, but the majority are from the database and from calling. So the more calling, the more connecting, the more talking to people just says like their friend and a human, better chance of succeeding.

And I always talk to people about family, occupation, recreation and desires. I mean who doesn't want to talk about the vacations they went on? I tell people the vacations we went on. People always ask me you know, what do you do when you're not working? I said, well, I work all the time, and when I'm not working, I love to travel. So I'll travel many, many weeks every year, and that's what we love to do. We're not working, I love to travel, so I'll travel many, many weeks every year, and that's what we love to do. We're not big like going out people. We don't go to bars or anything like that.

We just came back, actually, from my mother-in-law's pre-birthday dinner that we celebrated tonight, and so I'm coming to you a little bit late of this evening because I literally just walked in the door from dinner super tired, super long day and I said you know what I have to make sure I get on and give my update for the day. My message for the day, the message for today, is we can do so much more than we think we can, we can. I promise you that can do so much more than we think we can, we can, we can. I promise you that you can so much more. There's so much more that you have in you that you don't even realize that you have. You don't even realize it until you put your mindset to it. And so somebody said the other day your mindset to it.

And so somebody said the other day, my coach, Sean Chuck Black, said so mindset is about the assumptions of what you think about something. So people say, well, I don't even call so many people a day. Well, that's not necessarily true. If somebody is calling a hundred, 200 dials a day, you certainly can do it. You just never tried to do it. And your mindset about it? You have assumption about what it is instead of really what it is. It's just in your mind. Nobody thought they could do. What is it like a four-minute mile until somebody did a four-minute mile? Once somebody does it, then anybody can do it. You just have to prepare and train for that. It's the same thing in whatever it is you do in your life.

Speaker 1:

In this case, we sell real estate and we help others sell real estate and we help sellers lots of sellers sell their properties. So message tonight we can do, myself included, so much more than we ever thought we could. And so this is the experiment for the month of March 100 listing appointments in 30 days, that's 21 working days. I'm right on target, so I want to keep ahead of that. I want to keep ahead of that. I want to keep booking more appointments so I am over at the end of the month and not coming up short. I will not and I tell you this will not come up short. I don't care if it's the last five days, if I'm short. I'm there every day, working until I get these appointments. That is commitment. You don't go home until the job is done. Regardless of how long it takes to do it, I'm doing the work. I want to show you really what's possible. It's all possible. You're possible.
